Meet Me at the Wedding Review

Meet Me at the Wedding is the final book in Georgia Toffolo’s Meet Me romance series. The word that comes to mind most in this book (and greater series) is “cute.” It’s not particularly deep, but that’s okay. If you want escapist romance, then this book is for you. Lily Atwell, chef, and temporary wedding planner is planning her friend Victoria’s perfect wedding and is determined that everything goes smoothly. She wants to hold the wedding at the estate where she, Victoria, and their friends Zoe and Malie grew up, but the owner has put up unexpected resistance. In trying to negotiate, Lily and Henry grow closer and find closure for their past (and current) disagreements.

As with Meet Me in Tahiti, the writing style is not great. I still have not read the first two books in this series (but I will!), so there is also some context that I was missing. The pacing of the romance story felt a tad hasty at the beginning but gets better as the book continues.

The book is pretty par for the course as a romance. It’s neither bad nor good. There isn’t really much to say about it, so I’ll leave it here.
